It's a lifestyle change, not a diet

Nutrition

When given proper nutrition, the human body maintains itself remarkably well. It heals itself more efficiently and upkeep is simply easier. For this reason, Frisina Family Chiropractic carries the complete line of Standard Process® whole food supplements, which contain many of the minerals, vitamins and phytonutrients that are missing from our daily diet. These whole food supplements work to provide the nutrition necessary for good health and healing.

Dr. Frisina is a Whole Food Nutrition Specialist who has an amazing ability to determine what nutrients the body needs and will utilize. She uses Applied Kinesiology (muscle testing) to create a personalized supplement program for her patients. She tests which nutrient is needed and the exact dosage needed at that time. Each nutritional program is personally customized for you. You are a unique person and we do not believe in a “cookie cutter” program.

Needle-Free Allergy/Sensitivity Testing

Sensitivities can cause a wide array of symptoms including:

  • Headaches
  • Skin issues
  • Sinus problems
  • Digestive issues
  • Sleeping trouble
  • Weight gain
  • and so much more.

What is tested?
This test includes 4 panels (foods, heavy metals, immune challenges and toxic chemicals). There are 69 total vials tested.

How does it work?
Dr. Frisina has been certified in Applied Kinesiology (muscle testing) and uses it to determine what you may have a sensitivity to. There is nothing injected into you for the testing, so we can be very specific as to which vial is causing your problem(s). Then once the sensitivity is identified we can put together a plan to get you well. If you are ready to finally find the cause of your problems call 217-787-4345 to schedule your test.

Healthier Copycat Recipes to Serve Up at Your Super Bowl Party Blog Post

Unless my team is playing, the Super Bowl is all about the food. I want to be able to eat and serve foods that my friends will love, but are still healthier than your typical store-bought or takeout options, which can be sky-high in calories and sodium. Cooking at home means I get to control the ingredients and sneak in vegetables when possible. Everyone still gets to enjoy classic game-day eats, like guacamole, wings, chili, pizza and dip. Plus, if someone's eating gluten-free, vegan, Paleo or Whole30 style—they can still enjoy some of the spread.

I'm a morning exerciser. Sometimes it's hard to set my alarm for an early wake-up (and not hit snooze when it goes off). But I work out because I love the way it makes me feel—stronger, faster, healthier, less stressed, the list goes on. Regular exercise does more than help you lose and maintain your weight. It also helps keep your brain sharp. And, studies indicate that people who regularly exercise live longer. Since I want to get the most out of each workout I eat breakfast after my workout.
